Nearly 90 Flights Linked to Epstein Allegedly Landed at or Took Off from British Airports
Analysis has identified that close to 90 flights linked to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein are said to have arrived at and departed from UK airports, with some allegedly carrying women from the UK who assert they were victimized by the found guilty sex offender.
Flight Logs Show Pattern of Travel
The travel manifests were part of a trove of court documents and papers made public by Epsteinās estate that have been made public over the previous twelve months. The analysis found 87 aircraft movements connected to Epstein ā encompassing many that were previously unknown ā landing or taking off from British airfields between the early 1990s and 2018.
Onboard Individuals and After Guilty Verdict Flights
Unnamed āfemalesā were documented among the individuals entering and exiting the UK. Significantly, 15 of these flights involving the UK took place subsequent to Epsteinās 2008 guilty verdict for procuring prostitution from a minor.
āIt was āshockingā that there had never been a āfull-scale UK investigationā into his dealings in the country,ā remarked US lawyers acting for numerous Epstein survivors.
British Victims and Legal Proceedings
Testimony from one of the UK-based survivors helped convict Epsteinās associate socialite Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. Yet, that individual has never been contacted by British law enforcement, according to her attorney based in Florida.
In a statement, the Metropolitan police said they had ānot been provided with any additional information that would support reopening the inquiry.ā They commented, āIf fresh and pertinent evidence be presented to us, encompassing any resulting from the release of material in the US, we will evaluate it.ā
Ongoing Disclosure and Judicial Decisions
Proposed legislation to make public every document held by the US government in concerning Epstein passed the US Congress last month. The Department of Justice has until 19 December to adhere to this requirement. Hundreds of thousands of documents are anticipated to be released.
Additionally, a US judge decided last week that the DOJ could disclose evidence from a trafficking prosecution against Maxwell, Epsteinās close friend, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence over the charges.
