Israel's Cabinet Endorses Deal for Hostages' Release as US Military Personnel to 'Monitor' Truce
The Israeli cabinet has publicly endorsed a comprehensive ceasefire deal that includes the liberation of all outstanding hostages held by Hamas in Gaza, marking a major step toward terminating the destructive two-year conflict.
US Defense Role in Monitoring the Truce
Senior authorities in the White House have stated that a American armed forces unit of about 200 personnel will be sent to the region to "supervise" the ceasefire after both Israeli authorities and the militant organization acceded to the initial phase of the former President Trump administration's conflict resolution plan.
